The easy hike goes from the Upper Austrian Altmünster on the Traunsee, in the Salzkammergut mountains, over the Grasberg to Neukirchen and is ideal for families and groups. The path, which partly runs in the forest and on meadows, offers refreshment stops at the “Gasthof Reschenwirt” or at the “Gasthof Kirchenwirt” in Neukirchen and is accessible all year round.

The starting point of this tour is the church on Marktstrasse near Altmünster.

From there it goes to the Stücklbachgraben and via Staudachstraße to the “Reschenwirt” inn. After 100 m on the road you then go through 2 lime trees (farm) and come to a meadow path. Then you reach the south-facing slopes, a wooded area with a ditch downhill, and you come to the “Feichta” farmhouses.

It then goes to Neukirchen via the Grossalmstraße.
