    Perfectly walkable & car free path (beach shoes are fine) to the light house

      The lighthouse itself is unspectacular but you have a nice view and there are some nice climbing on the rocks. One of those unspeakable Bimmelbähnchen also goes up. So you're not alone ;-) Tip: snorkeling and swimming in the bay in front of the tower. Fantastically beautiful water and little going on.

          The Pietra lighthouse marks the entrance to the north-west coast of Corsica. This is the end of your visit to the island of La Pietra and you can admire a magnificent view of the hinterland and the coast of Balagne. A beautiful walk!

            The municipality of L'Île-Rousse is located on the north coast of the island of Corsica in the Balagne region. The municipality also includes the offshore islands of Île de la Pietra, Isula di u Brocciu and Isula Piana. Except for the sandy beach section Plage du Caruchettu in the east, the coast is rocky and steep.
