Hi, looking for cycle paths in the lower Reggio area I'm coming across these highlights created on the komoot map. Although useful for connecting to the links of the routes created by your profile/project, I think that for the komooot user looking for highlights, understood as points of interest to be included in their own route, these create confusion during navigation.
Example: last week I was looking for interesting waypoints in the Novellara valleys, and I was browsing the highlights. Unfortunately, some of these were only "crossroads" added by you, which in my opinion are not real highlights and should not (in large numbers) be registered as such on komoot, so as not to fill the map with red dots which in fact do not they concern particular places to visit, but only links to other personal paths.
I write this without controversy and as a suggestion, because adding points of interest makes the outings better, but I think that if we all recorded "highlights" at every intersection or crossroads, the experience on komoot would get worse. To search for routes or circuits, I think it is more appropriate to use personal profiles and collections, and leave the highlights (komoot's great strength!) to points of interest only: particular buildings, worthy segments, historical places, panoramic points, etc. .
