    The Denkstein, donated in 1790 by the owner of the Friedrichstaler Vorwerk von Fröden, commemorates its neighbor, the Müller Arnhold, who was respected in Radeberg and the former owner of the Hüttermühle.

            In recognition and appreciation of Johann Gottfried Arnhold's charity and charitable spirit for the town and surrounding area of Radeberg, von Fröden had the Arnhold memorial stone erected not far from the mill in 1790.

            The sandstone monument is located opposite the Hüttermühlenteich on the slope of the right bank of the Große Röder. The inscription on the front read (original spelling before restoration in 2009):
            "To the diligence of the good farmer and the skill of the miller Gottfried Arnhold, dedicated to his memory by his neighbor H.L.B.v. Fröden, 1790"
