              The Col du Fanget peaks at 1459m. From the Bes valley, a fairly long climb awaits you because the ascent is often considered to have started from the hamlet of Esclangon, which gives you a 20 km climb. The first 17 km are relatively easy but after passing the village of Auzet the slope will gently start to steepen around 6-7%, but it is the last km that you have to be wary of because it displays a terrible average of 10 .5% which risks hurting your legs. From the other side from Seyne you start with a descent but after that it will be 4 km at 7% average

                  The climb up the north side from Seyne is not very long but is worth it with slopes of 10% - 12%. The descent by the southern slope makes you forget all these efforts: it's magnificent!
