this is an epic climb. very long but very beautiful, especially when you get above 2000m and begin to hear the marmots singing.

Magnificent landscape in the Mercantour National Park and on the climb to Col de la Bonette, the fourth highest alpine pass. As an encore, there is a small round to the Cime de la Bonette, the cul-de-sac from the pass. There is a grandiose view even higher from the lookout point at 2862 m above sea level.
