History: Because the front line made a triangular protrusion at this place, this cemetery was nicknamed "Caesar's Nose". At the end of July 1917, at the start of the Battle of Pilckem Ridge (Third Battle of Ypres), construction started and it was used until November of that year. The 38th (Welsh) Division that conquered this area buried 23 men here. There are also 15 men from the Royal Field Artillery.
