Update 2025: free cycling is no longer allowed everywhere in the Leuvenumse Bossen. Unfortunately, this path is no longer accessible to cyclists. 🚳
A beautiful winding (walking) path along the also winding forest stream. Alternately you cycle between old rows of trees along the water and then over bridges over the stream. The southernmost part is often wet to very wet during the drier periods of the year... and by very wet I mean overflowing paths, where the environment is more reminiscent of a mangrove forest than a place to cycle (see photos). So take into account a possible one-way trip on this path... but even then it is more than worth it!
Finally: this path is - despite the fact that it is open to cyclists - of course more of a walking path than a cycling path. So take into account crowds on weekends, children and dogs. Be nice, say hi :-)
