    The large maple floor is a breathtaking sight, especially in autumn when the foliage is beautifully colored. This is of course no longer an insider tip - if you are looking for peace and quiet, it is best to come during the week.

The lovely, wide high valley opens up before you after a long, very comfortable bike ride along the wildly flowing Rissbach stream with its turquoise waters. A wonderful view over large parts of the Karwendel and the Eng can be enjoyed from the Plumsjoch Hut—or even higher from the Satteljoch.
