The mud trail runs more or less horizontally, up and down, slalom and over roots and other funky little obstacles. It usually forms the last stretch after the Rotflue and Erzweg Trail. The ride on this trail is fun. But you always have to reckon with the fact that some places are quite muddy. So if you don't want to bring your bike and clothes home dirty, you should wait for at least a week without rain. It is rarely completely dry, with the worst part being in a depression. The trail does not require any special driving skills, unless you otherwise only drive on paved paths 😉
