A wonderfully situated rock formation amidst the vineyards high above Kappelrodeck with panoramic views. It is linked to a legend that gave Kappelrodeck's wine its name: "Witch vom Dasenstein."

Nice view through the valley towards the Rhine valley. When the air is clear and not as hazy as it is today, you should be able to see Strasbourg Cathedral from the rock.

According to legend, the "Hex vom Dasenstein" lived here, which gave the Kappelrodecker wine its name.
Today it is a beautiful rock in the middle of the vineyards with seating and a nice view down to Kappelrodeck.
