Legend has it that the horrible Knaghus bitch and her son,
the troll, lived in Knaghøj around the year 1400. The Knaghus bitch looked ordinary from the front, but from the back she was hollow. She did not like the sound
the chiming church bells from Hundslund Church, and therefore she prayed her
son about throwing a large granite block at the church. But the Troll was not
strong enough, so that the stone smoked backwards, and the Troll was laid to the teat in seven
year. Here he tried himself with stone number two, which also hit past.
The stone is still there and is called The Gray Cow. On the stone you can
sense how the Troll's powerful grip has shaped the large granite block.
In the fourth attempt, the troll hit the church.
