The tiny town of Klondyke is approximately 2.5 miles SE of this junction. There is no post office, but an unwritten agreement with the owners of the (closed) Klondyke store allows thruhikers of the Grand Enchantment Trail to mail ONE resupply box via the US Postal Service to a (unplugged) metal freezer located behind the store. The following address is only intended for delivery by direct mail - no outgoing mail service possible. You MUST ensure that you or someone else on your behalf picks up your package within two weeks. So better send your resupply from Superior than before you start your hike. Plan for six days of food for the stretch between Klondyke and Safford.
