The pictures of Lake Stellisee go around the world. The indescribable Matterhorn reflection has been photographed millions of times. The panorama with mountain giants that are well over 4,000 meters high is one of the most impressive in Zermatt. Beautifully romantic at sunrise and sunset. Cotton grass grows on the lakeshore, dotting the green-brown meadows with white dots.
