Real recommendation! Great asphalt and car-free, again and again impressive views of the Oker reservoir from different directions. Watch out for e-bikes and pedestrians, many of whom are understandably to be found. The roadway can often be soiled by forestry operations.

Currently there are many small sharp stones on the way in some places, as forestry work is currently taking place/has taken place. With sense and focus not on the best time but better than riding the road. Again and again great views of the dam, which is now quite well filled.

A real dream of a car-free path on top-quality asphalt (currently without any gravel etc. on the road).
Wonderful views of the Oker reservoir and the hilly surroundings.
You can enjoy rolling along here without any waves.

On this 8km section there are 3 other racing bike highlights that describe this path. I have reported these 3 duplicates for now. Normally the pioneer of the region should clean up.

Magnificent views, no cars, good asphalt. Hikers should be considered, but otherwise, this is one of the few traffic-free trails in the Harz that's accessible by road bike.
