The listed manor house is located near Cottbus on the edge of the opencast Welzow-Süd, where we mine our lignite. Gut Geisendorf is a place where the social and cultural identity of the region is preserved - a cultural forum. A popular cultural address The Kulturforum on Gut Geisendorf has become a popular address for the people of Brandenburg. Social coexistence and a sense of home bring people together in our cultural forum. A colorful cultural program completes the offer: Exhibitions Concerts such as the Geisendorfer Musiksalon Literary Forums such as the Geisendorfer Literature Forum Bürgertreffs Take a tour of the history of brown coal At Gut Geisendorf there is a permanent exhibition on the history and future of lignite in Lusatia.
