The Ahlbecker Hof is probably the most beautiful 5 star hotel on the Baltic Sea. Thanks to the elegance of a first-rate house from the 19th century that has been preserved to this day, in which well-known personalities such as Franz Josef I, Emperor of Austria or I.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden resided, it still adorns countless postcards or serves as a film set. But not only the historical ambience attracts many guests every year, but also the fantastic location directly on the promenade in front of the wide sandy beach, which stretches for 40 kilometers. Usedom's only historical pier juts out into the Baltic Sea directly in front of the hotel and forms a wonderful ensemble with the Ahlbecker Hof. The omnipresent nostalgia in the lobby, in the brasserie, in the fireplace room, in the restaurant and in the rooms and suites makes a stay a special experience. Here you can enjoy nostalgic cosiness and luxurious comfort. Probably one of the most beautiful and historically significant hotels and buildings. A number of prominent guests have lodged there. They included the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I in 1905, Louise Ebert, the wife of the Reich President, and the former Reich Chancellor Gustav Bauer in 1925, Theo Lingen in 1939, Queen Silvia of Sweden in 2006 and Federal President Horst Köhler and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in 2008.
