In 1853 a rail link was created between Bruchsal and Stuttgart. This now disused station building still bears witness to this. The building is locked, but you can take a look inside through the windows.

The station building is boarded up and waiting for a new use. The historical circular route through Gondelsheim also begins here.
And since the mid-90s, trains have stopped here regularly towards Bretten (further to Mühlacker) and Bruchsal (connection to the city rail network). The stop belongs to the KVV area.
In Bretten there is a connection to the S4 towards Karlsruhe and towards Eppingen.
