Olpenitz is originally known as a naval base that was used by the German Navy from 1964 to 2006. But what do you do with a 400-acre site when the Navy moves on? The city fathers of the city of Kappeln, to which Olpenitz has officially belonged since 1970, also asked themselves this question. This is how the naval base slowly developed into today's Baltic Sea resort of Olpenitz, which continues to grow constantly and becomes a real holiday paradise on the Baltic Sea.

Now there are fantastic holiday homes here, where you can enjoy the rural expanse and a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. A small row of shops, a supermarket with a bakery and bistro as well as various restaurateurs (including a beach bar) complete the offer.

The immediate proximity to Kappeln allows for a holiday in the great outdoors, as well as a connection to an urban environment with all amenities. There is a shuttle bus between Kappeln and Olpenitz, you can see the timetable here.
