The small train station Binz-Ost (state railway) is a station on the "Rasende Roland", a steam-powered narrow-gauge railway that has been running since the end of the 19th century on a 24.1 km long route from Putbus via Binz to Göhren (in the season the journey continues via Putbus to Lauterbach).
The small train station was restored in 2003/2004 according to historical specifications. Today the small train station houses a tourist information office including a bicycle rental service.

The "Rasende Roland," a historic narrow-gauge railway, stops here. In addition to the ticket office, the station houses a visitor center with a library, museum, reading corner, and public restrooms.

In the style of seaside resort architecture, the Binz small train station welcomes its guests just before leaving the town toward Serams. Since 1895, only narrow-gauge railways with a 750 mm gauge have operated here. Today, the Rügensche Bäderbahn "Rasender Roland" trains stop daily on the two tracks, taking travelers to Putbus and the neighboring Baltic Sea resorts of Sellin, Baabe, and Göhren.

The station building has a large waiting room. The Rügensche Bäderbahn ticket office is located here. A reading corner invites visitors to linger. Opposite, the "Clara + Jo" restaurant invites visitors to take a break.

The Binz Library can be seen from the platform through the windows of the former baggage loft. While browsing the bookshelves or strolling through the adjacent Binz Museum, the wait for the next train will pass quickly.

There is also a public restroom in the station, accessible from the platform.
Use is free with a valid BINZER BUCHT CARD (tourist card).

The Binz Bäderbahn (Binz Seaside Railway) and the VVR public buses, lines 22, 24, 27 (Binz-Prora local bus), and 28 (Castle bus), stop in front of the small train station.
