Unška Koliševka is a sinkhole created by the collapse of an underground cave. The typical characteristics of such a sinkhole are the steep walls and the inaccessible bottom.
(⚠️ ATTENTION: Danger of falling)
Unška Koliševka, unlike other sinkholes found, for example, in the Rakov Škocjan karst reserve, hides another peculiarity. In fact, around the sinkhole there are military tunnels and bunkers carved into the rock, which were built by Italian soldiers between the two world wars. A smaller part of these corridors with a total length of about 1.5 km is still freely accessible.
The military tunnels and bunkers are on the opposite side of the sinkholes.
So on the other side of this highlight location.
