The origins of Domein Vordenstein go back to 1552.

Nothing remains of the castle, the last remains were demolished in 1946.

Only the orangery and outbuildings have been preserved.

The domain itself is approximately 110 hectares and is characterized by different landscape types.

Park area with scattered tree groups and ponds are English inspired. The forest area is laid out in French style and is laid out in a star shape. Drifts of oak and beech trees cross the park grounds. A green lung to the east of the big city of Antwerp. A great area to unwind.

Note: dogs are NOT ALLOWED, even on a leash. Neither two-wheelers are welcome. Bicycle parking is provided at the Kopstraat car park.

Vordenstein Park is a park in Schoten, in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The park is managed by the Agency for Nature and Forests according to the principles of Harmonious Park and Green Management. The park is owned by the Flemish Region.
