Can Mates hill is a small mountain located in the municipality of Sant Cugat del Vallès. Its peak is 200 m above sea level. The upper part has become a viewpoint from where you can see panoramic views of the city and part of the Vallès Occidental such as Terrassa, Montserrat and Tibidabo, among others.

Around it has been made the Central Park that goes from Mira-sol to the city center. It has been renovated and has surfaces and paths for outdoor sports such as football or basketball and several playground areas. During the festival of Sant Pere, one of the patrons of Sant Cugat del Vallès, the pyrotechnic show takes place from the Turó de Can Mates. The vegetation has been renewed with native plants such as strawberry, reeds, heather, garrigue and photinias, among others.

As a curiosity, it can be said that it has become a meeting point for many people from Sant Cugat, they define it as a green lung in the middle of the city.
