Mårbu tourist cabin is idyllically located at the north end of Lake Mår, right on the border of Hardangervidda National Park. Around the cabin itself you will find a friendly hilly terrain, and further away high-rise knots and valleys with peaks up to 1400 meters altitude. In summer it is possible to take a boat across Mår all the way to the cabin, or you can enter.
Mårbu is located on Skartåkervollen along Søre Nordmannsslepa. The cabin is a natural stop during a cabin-to-cabin trip on the Hardangervidda, but the area also invites to great day trips and is well suited for families with children who want to stay for several days. There are also good fishing opportunities near the cottage. Boat can be rented.
