      From a distance you can see how big the Domberg actually is. It is worth making a detour there and enjoying the view over Freising and the surrounding area. When the weather is nice, you can even see as far as Munich.

            In 724 the traveling bishop Korbinian stayed in Freising. In 739 the diocese of Freising was founded. Since then, the Domberg has been built, expanded and rebuilt up to the present day. The Bavarian State Exhibition in Freising is planned for 2024 to honor Korbinian's 1300th anniversary.
