A #lostplace to stay. On the back wall, the time can be forgotten when looking at the sea. Here you are off the beaten track and has its peace. The lighthouse collapsed in the last earthquake and has not been rebuilt since.

The fact that the tower is still standing is nothing short of a miracle. The 1998 quake had a magnitude of 6.2 and destroyed many buildings in the north of the island. Including the lighthouse, which only stands in ruins on the rocky coast. Here you can see why you should stay under lintels during an earthquake, because almost all of them are intact. The building may not be entered due to the acute risk of collapse.
