Coming from the west, the Burgweg offers a beautiful descent from the Egge down into the valley near Borlinghausen. Seen from the west, the path forks after about a third of the marked section in 2 variants. These run to the right and left of the incision in a ravine that was created by removing ore from the nearby former iron ore mine.

The variant on the left side, seen from the west, is marked with the sign "Z" and is slightly wider than the trail that leads down on the right side. Both variants are very nice to drive. On the left you are faster because you have to negotiate obstacles on the right.

If you start the path from below, the incline is good or not that good, depending on the weather, but still feasible.
If you drive down the path from above, the trail rips quite well.
The faster you go down, the greater the demands on driving technique and reaction.
