The Basilica of Our Lady of Sameiro (Portuguese Basílica de Nossa Senhora do Sameiro) (Sanctuary of Sameiro) (Portuguese Santuário do Sameiro) is a Roman Catholic church with the status of a minor basilica and a Marian shrine in the area around the city of Braga, Portugal. It is the first Portuguese church dedicated to the dogma of the Immaculate Conception, proclaimed in 1854.

The Torre de Santiago marks one of the medieval viewpoints and one of the entrances to the city and still retains its medieval appearance in contrast to the rocaille decoration that covers the northern facade. This is divided into two registers: the upper one is characterized by the stone clock and the bell tower and the lower one by the oratory of Our Lady of the Tower, introduced there in the eighteenth century.

The chapel was written by André Soares and its construction is due to a thanksgiving to the Virgin for the protection of the college during the great earthquake of 1755, which caused much destruction throughout the country.
