Powder Tower (Kleine Burgstrasse)
As its name suggests, the powder tower served as a powder magazine in the Middle Ages. Above the Gothic entrance is a building inscription with the year 1554. In 1996 it was restored by volunteers as part of a "do-it-yourself" campaign by Südwestrundfunk.

There are a total of 14 towers in Pfeddersheim, of which 9 are full towers and 5 are half towers. 5 full towers and 3 half towers have been renovated or are still in good condition, the others are in need of renovation.

The powder tower is not particularly high, but it is still completely intact. As part of a "do-it-yourself campaign" by Südwestfunk in 1996, thanks to the voluntary activities of Pfeddersheim citizens, the tower was freed from its earlier rampant ivy cover and the masonry was thoroughly cleaned and repaired. On the western side of the city, the tower has a pointed, Gothic portal dated 1554. A protruding wall ring indicates the former defense platform. The parlor on the upper floor dates from the 19th century in its current form and can only be reached from the outside via a ladder.
