In December 2018, one hundred years after the end of the First World War, the city council of Ghent decided to name a new bicycle bridge to be built after Louisa: the Louisa d'Havé bridge. The bicycle bridge bridges the Scheldt and connects the Stropkaai with the Bellevue district and Ledeberg. In May 2019, the first sod was dug in the presence of Louisa's family. The bridge was inaugurated on September 21, 2020 in the presence of the family and inaugurated.
