Cerro Calderico rises in the middle of the La Mancha plain, being visible for many kms. away and giving Consuegra (Toledo) its own stamp of identity. As the most relevant heritage elements we find the Castle and the Windmills that extend along its top following its longitudinal profile. Its views of the mills and castle, worth seeing.

A must visit if you are in Castilla-La Mancha. The windmills were built in the first half of the 19th century. Of the thirteen mills that originally existed, 12 have been recovered, which are the ones that can be enjoyed today. Each one with its own name, many are dedicated to La Mancha themes, and others evoke chapters from Don Quixote. You can enter the mill that is open, it costs very little and it is very interesting. You can also buy a very good cheese in the second mill (counting from the bottom).
