The Ripshorst wood garden offers many different types of trees with many information boards. The area around Haus Ripshorst is very large. Incidentally, there is also a meadow here where you can fly kites. Many kite experts are here who are happy to give you tips. My absolute highlight here are the primeval sequoias.

The bridge was designed by a well-known architectural firm. It consists of a three-dimensional steel arch with struts. The beautiful bridge is 77.90 meters long and a full 8 meters high. Under the bridge is the Cologne-Minden railway line and also the Gleispark with its beautiful biotope. The bridge received the German Steel Construction Award in 2010. It is nice to visit the bridge in the evening, as you can enjoy a fantastic sunset from here. Later in the evening it is then illuminated. Have fun
