This open-air museum is a vivid illustration of the former living environment of the people living in Kluki (German: Klucken). Up until well into the 20th century, people lived here from fishing, modest agriculture and peat extraction. Some of the half-timbered buildings are originally restored on site, others dismantled elsewhere and lovingly put together with the existing ones to form a very authentic-looking small village. In the cottages you can see everyday rural objects and traditional costumes of the Slowinzen, but also photos of the former residents from the old days. Some agricultural implements outside. There are detailed explanations in Polish, some also in German or English. During our visit, we were able to move freely on both sides of the village street and look at some of the cottages from the inside. In good weather you can spend an hour or two here. Authentic and recommendable.
