    Getting to the beach is not easy, the best path is a little wild and steep down directly from the parking lot. Please put dogs on a leash and follow the instructions of the residents 😉😊

      A wide sandy beach with a shallow entry into the water. The beaches on the Großer Seddiner See are created by the declining water level, which unfortunately can be clearly seen.

      According to a study by the hydrologist Professor Stephan Kaden, 70 percent of the Seddiner See loses water each year due to climatic conditions and 30 percent due to use-related circumstances.

        Nature reserve, you can get close to the water in some places, but you can't go for a walk on the beach. Rubber boots are helpful to enjoy the wide views and not to sink into the mud.

          The Great Seddiner See, often simply Seddiner See, formerly Seddinsee, is a 218-hectare channel basin lake in the Brandenburg district of Potsdam-Mittelmark. It is around 22 kilometers southwest of Berlin in the communities of Seddiner See and Michendorf. Separated by the B2 federal highway, the Kleiner Seddiner See (around 4.4 hectares) adjoins the long stretch of water at the western end. A narrow strip of land on the south-east bank also separates the Kähnsdorfer See (around 26 hectares) from the Großer Seddiner See.
