The old D218 from Grenoble and Montaud to Autrans was destroyed and interrupted by a landslide below Buffe.
Carrying and pushing is the order of the day, which is very difficult with luggage.
From Montaud to this point, a very beautiful, winding route, but also with cars.
However, many were just looking for an ideal launch site for their paragliders.

Today, it is a scree of a hundred meters wide, and although a footpath is emerging, the barrier of tangled trees on the tunnel side is very difficult to cross: you have to slip between the trunks in pushing the bike in front of you, and it's a few meters high.
In short: until the paragliders start it's great, but I only recommend access to the tunnel for the more adventurous.
