THE DIONYSOS WAY IS AN ENTREE
ON THE CREATION OF HERMANN NITSCH.
The artist's work contains strong references to Greek mythology and the Weinviertel landscape. These become tangible and understandable for the visitors of the Dionysusweg. The sensory experience (seeing-smelling-tasting) connects the Weinviertel landscape with myth and pleasure and connects nature and art. The "Dionysosweg" leads from the museum parking lot through the vineyards to the "Weinviertelfries" by Heinz Cibulka and Klaus Stattmann and from there to the MZM.
Goats, pigs, geese, ducks, chickens and Galloway cattle can be seen all year round on the Dionysus Trail.
With free admission, the Dionysus Path is open all year round until dark.
