The Hacker Bridge spans the tracks towards Munich Central Station. Length 177m. Connection between Landsbergerstrasse and Arnulfstrasse / former Marsfeld. The Hacker Bridge was built between 1890 and 1894 by the MAN company (Augsburg Machine Factory). Today it is one of the few remaining steel arch bridges in Germany (wrought iron / welded iron). It was partially destroyed in World War II and reconstructed in 1953. A further renovation took place in 1983/84. Since then, a bridge bearing base from 1892 has stood on the sidewalk at the south end. Weight 3750 kg made of cast iron.
The 140 m long Herbststrasse Bridge stood here in front of the Hacker Bridge since 1870.
The name Hacker Bridge comes from the Munich brewery Hacker-Pschorr, which had its headquarters nearby.

At the Hackerbrücke there is a "Hackerbrücke plaque" with the inscription: Maschinenbau - Actien - Gesellschaft Nürnberg vorm. Klett & Co Filiale Gustavsburg built by their subsidiary, the MAN plant in Gustavsburg.
