The Sequoiafarm Kaldenkirchen is a 35,635 m² (≈ 3.6 hectare) arboretum in the Kaldenkirchener Grenzwald in the North Rhine-Westphalian city of Nettetal. The first systematic cultivation of all three species of sequoia in Europe took place here in the middle of the 20th century. The site was used by universities and as a biological station for several years and has belonged to the non-profit organization "Sequoiafarm" since 2013.

The Sequoiafarm is only open on Sundays and public holidays. It is home to mountain, coastal and ancient sequoias, the seeds of which were imported from California in 1950 and planted here two years later. The trees are now almost 70 years old and almost 40 meters high. In terms of size, they cannot yet keep up with their 200-year-old cousins in America, but their soft bark and imposing growth are worth a trip.
