Nice half-day tour, but not unreasonable. Great panoramic mountain, as it is in a secluded location.
Tannheim’s local mountain. Well attended, but not overcrowded, as there is no gondola lift to the summit and there is also a place to stop for refreshments in the valley.
Ascent from Tannheim OT Berg is steep throughout, almost in a straight line up the mountain. There is also easy climbing in the summit area. The view makes up for the effort several times over.

The Einstein is a mountain that can often be climbed very early in the year. The route coming from Berg runs southward and apert in the spring quickly.
The tour up the Einstein is a half day tour. For the ascent and descent a pure walking time of approx. 180 minutes is required. The Einstein is particularly suitable as an entry-level tour for smaller children. Some simple kraps increase the fun factor for the kids.

However, one should note that the Einstein is a very popular hiking destination, and it can be close at the summit ever.

A great tour with a beautiful view. The mountain is well attended, but not overcrowded. There is always space at the summit for the coming hikers. The tour is feasible for children.

Great tour. Whether it's trail running or hiking, pure joy is guaranteed on this tour. Great climb. The last few meters are a bit to scramble. Above you have a gigantic (if the weather is good) Rundschau because the Einstein stands alone and you can marvel at the beautiful mountain scenery 👍

Hi. I climbed Einstein vom Achtal Pfronten (almost to the summit, because of bad weather) and climbed from Tannheim OT Burg. I would like to recommend the Einstein from Tannheim to commit because here the rise and the view in my opinion is more diverse. Contrary to other comments here I would like to contradict that it would be a simple entry-level tour for children. Alone because of the persistent slope. Arrived at the top of the Einstein you will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view. The summit cross is currently absent due to storm.

I've been to the Einstein twice now and I'm already wondering how this tour can be called an introductory tour for smaller kids. Since it is constantly going uphill, a child's stamina is more of a strain than it is fun. And I also wonder how a normal hiker is supposed to manage the ascent/descent in 3 hours? It took me 2 1/2 hours uphill and 2 hours downhill each time. I certainly didn't dawdle, and the others who were there weren't much faster either. But it is still a great tour with a magnificent view, where the ascent is always worthwhile.

The summit of the Einstein can be easily reached from Tannheim or Zöblen. With both options, you will of course have to overcome a few meters. The last section in particular requires surefootedness and alpine experience. It goes steeply through rocky terrain to the summit.
But with a bit of experience it is easy to do, as the slopes are not too steep on the sides.
