The first hiking band in the Saxon Ore Mountains is located in the Oberlochmühle district of Deutschneudorf. High up on the Klötzerhübel, where several hiking trails meet, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the neighboring Czech Republic. The architecturally attractive and lovingly designed "Chapel along the way" offers all its visitors moments of peace and quiet contemplation.

While there are numerous chapels along hiking trails in the Bohemian Ore Mountains, the hiking chapel in Oberlochmühle is the only one in all of Saxony. We owe its existence to the private commitment and initiative of the villager and folk craftsman Mr. Wolfgang Braun.

First hiking chapel of the Saxon Ore Mountains on the Klötzerhübel with a view of the small village of Oberlochmühle. Several hiking trails meet here (mostly grassland) and invite you to linger. Note when hiking in summer: be careful of brakes and mosquitoes!
