The Storchensee is located directly on the Fulda. The Hessian long-distance cycle paths R1 and R5 pass here. Cyclists have to dismount briefly at the small bridge. However, there is a ramp next to the stairs for pushing, so you don't have to carry your bike. By the way, you can fish for pike and carp at the Storchensee. There is also a place to stop for refreshments here. A beautiful place surrounded by greenery.
