To the left of Wörlitz Castle, at the entrance to the Princess’s garden, is the Dietrich urn. Erected in 1775, it commemorates the prince's uncle and guardian, Dietrich von Anhalt-Dessau (1702-1769), whose house was at this point and was demolished when the garden was expanded.

A gondola tour starts at the gondola station near the castle and takes about 45 minutes. The route leads across Lake Wörlitz to the small Walloch, through the Wolf Canal, past the Gothic House and back to the gondola station.
