At the top of the hill there is a Shooting hut that is owned by Lord Bolton, when he isnt using it anyone can. Well worth a visit, we stopped the night! the roof leaks.....

Theres a shooting hut at the top of the hill which is owned by LORD Bolton, but anyone can use it when the family arent. Well worth a visit! we stayed the night, the roof leaks!

A rough, tough concrete road out of Carperby transforms into a beautiful gravel road. Up through trees, through an old quarry & up, up to the shooting hut. Stunning.
