A really nice market square is in the middle of Oppenheim's old town. All special sights are easily accessible from here. This is really a place with a pleasant atmosphere!

We did an underground tour under Oppenheim for 15 €. Very interesting. You have to reserve in advance. This is in the tourist information, to the right of the town hall. Have fun

Very nice, cozy old town with flair. Flowery, colorful, partly steep. 🤭 If you look closely, you will notice that Oppenheim has it with frogs and you will always see them everywhere. 😉🥰 Tip: Be sure to also have a look at the ossuary there.

A nice spot, there are lots of places to sit outside and on the corner there is an ice cream parlor with really delicious ice cream. A ball 1.30 euros currently, expensive, but worth the money!

The market square is centrally located below St. Catherine's Church, surrounded by half-timbered houses and is the meeting point for many citizens and guests of the city. In the wine bar, Oppenheim winemakers take turns presenting their wines and there is also a weekly market. Above all, the town hall is very striking and immediately catches the eye. The Renaissance building originally dates from 1621 and consists of two parts, the facades of which are crowned by characteristic stepped gables.
