The Abyss Gorges form one of the most beautiful sites in the Jura. One of the most hidden too.
By venturing into these deep gorges, on a path fitted with footbridges, you will follow the flowing waters of the torrent which carved out this mini canyon. Turquoise waters, pots, lush vegetation, the spectacle is total.
A real little secret paradise.

Warning, access to the Gorges de l'abîme has been prohibited since 2020, risk of landslides. After the Combes waterfall, take the Tre-bayard-le-bas path to the Grange Cattin and resume the route

Unfortunately, the beginning of the gorge has been closed since 2020. Therefore, the tour cannot be started from the parking lot

Like a German or Austrian gorge - with metal bars, stairs and... a lot of atmosphere. Great!
Quite well developed, but some of the steps are quite high, in the upper part they are rather slippery and "not without".
Only conditionally suitable for dogs and children.
