A former railway line linking Brussels to Tervueren in the past, the route has since been converted into a promenade of some 10 kilometers for pedestrians and cyclists, but not only! This corridor also plays an important role in terms of biodiversity, notably facilitating the migration of many animal species. A pleasant way to get around the capital under the trees, along parks and ponds and away from car traffic.
Keep your eyes open as you pass by: an old station platform and rails, forming a modern sculpture, recall the origin of this walk!

Thanks for the highlight, loved it!
Quite a bit of foot traffic during weekends so not ideal if you are looking for a track to race on during such times. Otherwise highly recommend it, it's a beautiful part of Brussels which I would probably not have discovered easily if it weren't for the Komoot community.

Nice gravel track on an old railway in suburbia. Too narrow to ride fast, Watch out for pedestrians.
