Aalborg Waterfront is the harbor promenade for delicious walks.
Not so long ago the Aalborg coast consisted mainly of industry and the Nordkraft coal-fired power station.
However, it has been changed to the extent that the waterfront has now been converted into a longer recreational area that combines delicious restaurants, cultural establishments like the Music House and Utzon Center with recreational areas like Virgin Ane Park, which hosts many events in the summer.
There are only the old railway sleepers in the ground, a few old silos and then Aalborg Portland on the horizon, which bear witness to the time when the waterfront looked more like coal than culture.
You can stroll from the music house to Vestre Fjordpark and discover good restaurants along the way such as Aalborg Street Food and Vestre Bådelaug.
