                      Picturesque Moisburg is located northwest of the Lüneburg Heath on the Este in a scenic location.
                      The towns of Moisburg, Appelbeck and Podendorf and the Ruhmannshof farm belong to the municipality of Moisburg.

                       A popular destination in Moisburg is the watermill on the Este (mill museum), which is documented around 1379. The delicious Moisburger Amtsmühlenbrot is highly recommended here.
                      The church was built around 1200. Art treasures of national importance and rich paintings from the period from 1640 can be admired.
                      Another monument is the official building restored in 1983, which was first mentioned in 1322.

                      The place Moisburg offers relaxation opportunities with its lake, river and forest landscape many possibilities. At the Appelbecker Lake, just 3 km southeast of Moisburg, with the surrounding ponds, you can relax on land or on water (pedal boating).

                      The restaurant & café on the lake is recommended for culinary purposes. Here carp are freshly caught from the ponds next to the house as well as Galloway cattle and fallow deer from their own species-appropriate husbandry.

                      The fallow deer is right at the house. This allows an insight into the appropriate breeding. It is a pleasure for children to watch and pet the animals.

                      For those who like it more active, the Este between Moisburg and Hollenstedt offers itself to be explored by canoe. The Este is a varied and lively, natural hiking river.
