A café "hidden in nature".

The historic area, which goes back to the middle of the 12th century, offers a lot of interesting things.

The small but lovingly designed café offers fine coffee-related delicacies. Deliciously fragrant cakes and tarts that are homemade in the café invite you to enjoy and linger.

... And if you like it hearty, you will be spoiled with selected game variations. Most of the products come from the surrounding nature and are made by hand.

The approach route, starting from the marked dike exit to the café, is 400 m long and leads past a large, completely preserved rampart with a surrounding moat, the "Alten Wencksternburg".

This was built around 1150 and is unique in the Prignitz because of its completeness and size. The tower hill castle and the castle, which was later built approx. 100 m away, were the residence of the noble von Wenckstern family on Lenzerwisch until 1777. The lineage of those von Wenckstern comes from the Upper Saxon nobility and begins with the knight Herrmann Weneken. His coat of arms was a silver six-pointed star on a blue shield background. It is particularly worth mentioning that the von Wenckstern family held the rulership and patronage of the Kietz and Wootz churches here without interruption for more than 600 years.
