    During the tour from Madonna di Montecastillo to Monte Cas you pass many former mountain positions from the First World War. They are still clearly visible here, often marked with information boards (unfortunately mostly only in Italian and English) and you can still clearly sense the horrors of this war here.
    The rock path leads along above Lake Garda, with great views and is easy to hike with surefootedness and caution.

            If you hike along the ascent path from the Madonna church up the Montecastillo to Monte Cas, you will pass some of the well-preserved bunkers and gun emplacements from the First World War.
